Asheville Regional Airport is open 24/7 and consists of a two-level terminal with seven gates.
Asheville Airport terminal has gone through several expansion and renovation projects since its opening in 1961. The most recent upgrades come in 2009 with general improvements and in 2017 with the opening of a large car park outside the terminal.
The Ground Level
The Ground Level is dedicated to Arrivals and Baggage claim. It also houses Airline Ticketing Counters on the left side. Through the Grand Hall, passengers can go through the security checkpoint screening.
The Upper Level
The upper level is dedicated to Departures with its seven gates: G1 through G3 on the left side and G4 through G7 on the right. The duty-free zone is also located on the upper level.
